Event Management & Olympic Facility Director
Kathryn is in her his thirteenth year at the University of Notre Dame and serves as member of the Athletics Event Management staff, primarily focused on supporting Cross Country, Men’s Soccer, Men’s Basketball, Indoor Track & Field and Softball throughout their regular and post-season play. Coneys works with Notre Dame’s coaching staffs as well as visiting teams to gather information regarding travel and practice schedules, she communicates with game officials and coordinates the in-venue efforts as they pertain to game day.
In addition to Notre Dame home athletic contests, Coneys works with NBC Universal and their executive client hospitality program, hosting their guests on football weekends which includes working with local hotels for lodging, hosting dinners, stadium tours, and hospitality during pre-game, in-game and post-game. She also works with local colleges and high schools, coordinating their commencements that occur in the Joyce Center.
Prior to her current role as an Event Management & Olympic Facility Director, Coneys spent three years as the Director of Youth Sports & Community outreach with a focus on Notre Dame’s Summer Camps.
Coneys is a native of upstate New York. She is a 2007 graduate of SUNY Cortland where she majored in Sport Management and is 2016 graduate of Ohio University where she received her masters in Sport Administration.
