Bio

Jimmy Haley joined the University of Notre Dame Olympic Strength and Conditioning staff in August 2019. He oversees and is responsible for the strength and conditioning programming for Men’s Soccer, Women’s Rowing, and Women’s Golf.

Prior to his arrival at Notre Dame, Haley worked at Northwestern University as the Olympic Sports Performance Coordinator where he assisted with multiple Olympic sports including: Women’s Lacrosse, Men’s Soccer, and Women’s Field Hockey. During his time with Northwestern, he helped the Women’s Lacrosse team become the 2019 Big Ten Tournament champions as well as see a NCAA Final Four appearance.

Before Northwestern, Haley worked directly with Men’s Soccer at the Pennsylvania State University as the team’s sport scientist. During this time, he also worked as a Strength and Conditioning Intern for Men’s Soccer, Women’s Ice Hockey, and Men’s and Women’s Track and Field.

Haley holds multiple national certifications, including Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach, and Reflexive Performance Reset Coach Certification. Haley earned his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the Pennsylvania State University in 2017 where he played rugby for the university, and is completing his master’s degree in Sports Administration, Sports Analytics Specialization from Northwestern University.
