Bio

Geoffrey Puls is in his second year as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Notre Dame.

Puls received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science (Strength and Conditioning) at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse as well as a Master[apos]s of Education in Applied Kinesiology (Sport and Exercise Science) from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.

Prior to working for Notre Dame, Puls was a Strength and Conditioning Intern at Notre Dame in the summer of 2011 and worked in the same capacity for the Chicago Bulls during the 2011-12 basketball season. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 2002-2006 as a Non-Commissioned Officer, with two tours of duty to Iraq in 2004 and 2006.

As an athlete, Puls played rugby collegiately during his time at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse from 2007-2011. He is also CSCS certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

Puls grew up in Manitowoc, Wisc., and currently resides in Mishawaka, Ind.
