Joined the Irish in the fall of 2015 as the program’s volunteer assistant coach while completing a one-year internship at the Family Medicine Center (Volker Blankenstein Service Fellow) before beginning medical school in the fall of 2016.

AS A SENIOR: 2015 CRCA National Scholar-Athlete selection … member of the top Notre Dame championship eight entry in the 50th Head of the Charles Regatta, finishing in 16th place with a time of 17:18.707 … raced exclusively with the Notre Dame first varsity eight as a senior … logged a pair of runner-up results while claiming a heat victory in a time of 5:56.767 during the second session of the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational … after finishing as runner-up to No. 1 Ohio State (6:29.48), downed No. RV Michigan State in 6:27.36 for a heat win at the Big Ten/ACC Double Dual in Columbus, Ohio … recorded two second place finishes at the Lake Natoma Invitational, clocking fastest time of the weekend (6:33.70) against No. 3 California and Rhode Island … runner-up during Friday night heat (6:51.50) at the Dale England Cup … placed second in the first varsity eight grand final (6:28.60) behind eventual team champion Virginia at the ACC Championship … finished in 17th place overall at the NCAA Championship after crossing the finish line in 6:44.901 of the first varsity eight C final on Lake Natoma.

AS A JUNIOR: Rowed in the second varsity eight for the duration of junior campaign … won two out of three races at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational to begin the spring season … earned three runner-up finishes at the Lake Natoma Invitational … the second eight finished as the runner-up in both races at the ACC/Big Ten Challenge with times of 6:48.27 behind eventual NCAA team champion Ohio State and 6:40.04 against Michigan … had three wins at the Dale England Cup over Indiana, Alabama, and Rhode Island to lead Notre Dame to a second straight team victory at the regatta … won heat two at the ACC Championship in a 6:50.00 sprint before finishing third behind Virginia and Syracuse with a time of 6:44.70 in the regatta’s grand final … after a third place finish in the preliminaries at the NCAA Championship, took the top spot in the second varsity eight repechage, heat two in 6:36.45 … ended the season with a third place finish in the petite eight final in 7:06.847, giving the Irish second eight a ninth place overall result.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Competed with the second varsity eight boat during second year with the Irish … won two out of three races to open the spring season at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational … member of multi-win crew at Michigan State … placed ahead of Michigan with a time of 7:07.97 at the Ohio State Invitational before finishing off the pace behind host Ohio State with a 7:32.75 mark … posted a runner-up result in the first two races at the Lake Natoma Invitational before winning the third and final race of the weekend in a 6:36.70 sprint … finished ahead of Alabama by 27 seconds in the first race at the Dale England Cup before beating out Iowa with a time of 6:58.4 … finished the regatta by racing 19 seconds faster than host Indiana to win the third and final race in 7:37.3 … placed first at the BIG EAST Championship, stopping the clock at 7:04.071, almost five full seconds faster than runner-up Louisville … team claimed its tenth consecutive BIG EAST title … the second varsity eight boat finished third in its preliminary heat at the NCAA Championship with a time of 7:15.092 behind rivals USC and Princeton … placed second in the first repechage heat with a 7:27.079 mark … finished sixth in the A/B semifinal with a split of 7:11.729 … concluded the event in 12th place overall with a time of 6:38.007 in the second varsity eight petite final … earned a monogram.

AS A FRESHMAN: Rowed for multiple Irish boats this season … earned first monogram … contributed to the third varsity four boat in a third place finish (7:22.32), as well as the victorious third varsity eight boat over Alabama (7:03.30) at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite … defeated Tennessee and Louisville (6:52.60) in final race of the day … placed second against Ohio State with the first varsity four boat (7:49.13) … came back the next day to get the victory over Indiana and Louisville (7:35.22) … won both of the second varsity four races at the BIG EAST Invite for the Irish, beating Iowa and Louisville (7:57.20), and Syracuse (7:56.80) … won the BIG EAST Championship qualifier with a time of 6:55.967 … helped the third varsity eight boat to a BIG EAST Championship finals victory posting a time of 7:04.391, on the way to the win over Syracuse, Connecticut and Louisville.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Played goalkeeper for her high school soccer team while at San Marino High School, lettering all four years … was the goalkeeper of the year her freshman, sophomore, and senior year … all-area second team as a freshman … named league MVP and all-area first team as a junior … led the team her senior year as team captain … named team MVP and all-area second team her senior year … played for the Crown City United club team … also was an outside hitter in volleyball for her high school, lettering her junior and senior years … received a senior league honorable mention … ran track for her high school team, lettering her junior and senior years … placed in league senior year … was a Girl Scout and won the Girl Scout Bronze and Silver Awards … member of the National Charity League … involved with the youth Confirmation Program … born in Burbank, Calif. … daughter of Mollie and Ben Beckler … has one sibling- Christian … graduated with a degree in psychology from the College of Arts and Letters.
