Bio

Brian Pracht joined the University of Notre Dame Athletics Department in 2013 and currently serves as the Associate Athletics Director for Industry and Campus Engagement.

In his role, Pracht has the primary responsibility of engaging and building relationships with key industry and campus constituents to foster mutually beneficial partnerships and outcomes for Notre Dame Athletics. His position also strategically interfaces with multiple university departments and organizations to help promote, design and cultivate collaborative academic initiatives and professional development opportunities for students, staff and industry executives through speaker series, special events and conferences. In addition, Pracht is a member of the Athletics Leadership Team.

Pracht’s current responsibilities also include serving as the sport administrator for the men’s tennis program and he is an assistant professor in the Mendoza College of Business teaching an undergraduate sports marketing course to Notre Dame students.

Pracht previously had oversight of ticketing, guest services, marketing and promotions, and premium experiences for the Fighting Irish. In that role, Pracht led the formation of strategic marketing and ticketing initiatives that delivered an exceptional experience to Notre Dame fans, maximized attendance and enhanced new and existing revenue streams.

Prior to joining Notre Dame, Pracht served on the University of Arkansas Athletic Department staff as the associate athletic director for marketing and licensing. His responsibilities at Arkansas included oversight of marketing, promotions, ticket operations, RazorVision Productions, website development, social media and spirit squads while also serving as the staff liaison to the University’s multimedia rights holder and outbound ticket sales team. He was a member of the athletic department’s executive staff and also directed the University’s trademark licensing program.

Pracht joined the Razorback staff following seven years at Wichita State University where he was the senior associate athletics director for external operations, managing all development, marketing, sales, ticketing and media relations activities. In addition, Pracht was the administrator of the men’s basketball program.

Pracht also served as the Assistant Commissioner for Marketing and Business for the Southland Conference and spent two years at Long Beach State University in the marketing department.

Pracht graduated in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Emporia State in Kansas. He and his wife Amy have two daughters, Caroline and Lily.
