NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Notre Dame softball head coach Deanna Gumpf announced Tuesday the addition of a third intra-squad Blue-Gold game to the team’s fall schedule.
The Blue-Gold Series will now be a best-of-three game set, with the first contest scheduled for Wednesday at 4 p.m. Game two will take place Thursday, also at 4 p.m. The third and final game of the Blue-Gold Series will be played Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 4 p.m.
The final fall exhibition game against Western Michigan, originally scheduled for Thursday, has been moved to Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m.
All four games will be held at Melissa Cook Stadium.
