Notre Dame, Ind. – Two of Notre Dame’s biggest promotional efforts will take place at the next two men’s basketball games. Camo Night will take place on Jan. 31 when the Irish face Providence at 7:00 p.m. (ET), while the matchup with DePaul on Feb. 1 at 6:00 p.m. (ET) has been designated BLACK OUT!

For the Providence game, camouflage shirts will be handed out to the entire lower arena of the Joyce Center. Those in the bleacher sections also are encouraged to wear camouflage. At halftime of the game, Sgt. 1st class John Adams from Southern Indiana, who has recently been named one of the Army’s “Real Heroes” for a segment of the “America’s Army” game for PC and Xbox 360 will be honored and recognized. Fan also can enjoy a halftime video tribute of head coach Mike Brey’s work with Operation Hardwood IV.

As part of ESPN’s coverage of Student Spirit Week, Notre Dame will be one of the school’s featured on the ESPN2 broadcast of the game.

The sponsors for the game will be: The US Army, Home Run Inn Frozen Pizza, Notre Dame Federal Credit Union, Chevrolet, Centennial Wireless and the South Bend Tribune.

The second annual BLACK OUT night will be held two nights later when the Irish go up against the Blue Demons. All fans attending the game will receive the 2008 BLACK OUT t-shirt.

The sponsors for the game will be PJ Marketing, South Bend Orthopaedic, Chase, Room Place Furniture, PowerBar and the South Bend Tribune.
