Boxberger Named CRCA Pocock All-American

Graduated senior Erin Boxberger (Overland Park, Kansas) has been named to the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association/Pocock All-America First Team. It is the third All-America honor of Boxberger’s outstanding career at Notre Dame and marks the second time she has received a first team selection.

Boxberger provided a veteran presence and power in the Varsity Eight during the 2016-17 season. She spent the previous two years training with the United States Rowing team, including a gold medal efforts at the Under-23 Championships in 2013 and 2014. Boxberger’s return to the Varsity Eight in helped the Irish advance to the NCAA Championship regatta this season, finishing 16th overall.

An All-ACC First Team selection, Boxberger is the third rower in program history to achieve All-America status in multiple seasons, joining Amanda Polk (four-time honoree from 2005-08) and Molly Bruggeman (three awards from 2012-14).

Boxberger finished her career with four NCAA Championship regatta appearances and graduated in May of 2017 with a degree in design from the College of Arts and Letters.
