NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The BIG EAST Conference announced Friday evening that, due to impending inclement weather in the South Bend area, Saturday’s first round of the BIG EAST Men’s and Women’s Golf Championship will be delayed two hours. Teams will now begin at 10 a.m. (EST/CDT), with the men’s teams going off hole No. 1 and the women’s teams starting at the 10th tee at Notre Dame’s Warren Golf Course.

In addition, it was determined that teams will play just 18 holes on Saturday, rather than 36 holes as previously scheduled. The schedule for the remainder of the tournament will be evaluated based upon weather and course conditions.
