The Notre Dame baseball team (10-7), riding an 8-2 streak in the past 10 games, opens BIG EAST play this weekend in Bethesda, Md., with a series vs. Georgetown (10-12) at Shirley Povich Field (located in Cabin John Park) … the Irish are 7-3 in previous BIG EAST openers – with this marking the ninth time in 11 seasons that the Irish have started BIG EAST play on the road.
