Baseball & Softball Season Tickets Go On Sale Monday

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Tickets for the 2013 Notre Dame baseball and softball seasons will go on sale at 8:30 a.m., Mon., Jan 14 at the Murnane Family Athletics Ticket Office (Gate 9 of Purcell Pavilion). Both Fighting Irish squads are approximately one month away from the start of their upcoming campaigns.

Season tickets will be available at a cost of $50 for adults and $30 for youths (ages 21 and younger) and seniors (ages 55 and older), while children ages three and younger are admitted free. In addition, a Fighting Irish “Fan Pack” of four season tickets may be purchased for $120.

Notre Dame season ticket packages include admission to over 35 Irish baseball and softball games and offer a variety of special amenities, including a 50% discount of single-game tickets, priority purchasing for any postseason contests (NCAA) hosted by Notre Dame and a season-ticket holder barbeque on Sat., May 4.

Individual game tickets will go on sale in early February at $5 for adults and $3 for youths/seniors. Students at Notre Dame, Saint Mary’s or Holy Cross will be admitted free when showing a valid student ID, while Notre Dame faculty and staff also will receive free admission with their valid ID. Both offers are voided once Frank Eck Stadium reaches capacity.

Parking is free of charge. Most parking is located on the south and north side of the Purcell Pavilion. The parking lots can be accessed by entering Edison Road via the south or Bulla Dr. via the north. You may also utilize the library parking lot which is located north of the Joyce Center. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we accommodate construction and changing traffic patterns.

Accessible Parking for Fans with Disabilities Accessible parking is available in the Joyce and Library lots for cars with a state approved license plate or hang tag, on a first come, first served basis.

Tickets also can be purchased at Frank Eck Stadium on game days.

Special rates are available for groups wishing to attend Notre Dame baseball and softball games in 2013. Besides discounted tickets, groups may take part in autograph sessions with Fighting Irish players, join the teams on the field for pre-game introductions, and enjoy other unique opportunities. Notre Dame baseball’s home-opening series is slated for 5:35 p.m., Fri., March 22 against Seton Hall. The other three BIG EAST home series for the Irish include three games each against Villanova (Apr. 5-7), Connecticut (Apr. 26-28) and USF (May 3-5). Notre Dame’s home slate also features midweek contests versus Kent State (Mar. 25-26), UIC (Apr. 2), Valparaiso (Apr. 3), Michigan (Apr. 9), Eastern Michigan (Apr. 10), Bowling Green (Apr. 17), Toledo (Apr. 23) and Michigan State (Apr. 24).

With West Virginia’s departure to the Big 12, Notre Dame will host a non-conference series on April 19-21 vs. Quinnipiac.

Notre Dame softball begins its 2013 home schedule with a 6 p.m. first pitch Thur., March 28 against Wisconsin-Green Bay. The Irish open BIG EAST play Apr. 6-7 against Villanova. The remainder of the conference slate sees Rutgers (Apr. 13-14), Connecticut (Apr. 23) and Louisville (May 4-5) venture to Melissa Cook Stadium. Midweek visits from Toledo (Apr. 10), Valparaiso (Apr. 18) and Eastern Michigan (Apr. 30) make up the final three games of Notre Dame’s non-conference schedule.
