The Notre Dame baseball team has scheduled a makeup game for the afternoon of Wednesday, May 15, with the Irish slated to play Rochester College in a 1:05 game at Eck Stadium. Notre Dame then will play its regularly-schedule d game versus Detroit later that evening, at 6:05.

The Irish wrap up the regular season this weekend at home, with a BIG EAST Conference series versus Boston College. The series includes a Friday night game on May 17 (6:05), followed by a noon doubleheader on Saturday. (Note: per BIG EAST rules, there are no makeup dates for the final series of the regular season).

Due to the late addition, there will be no admission charge for the ND-Rochester game.

The Rochester game replaces Notre Dame’s game versus Purdue that was scheduled for today in West Lafayette (the Boilermakers canceled the game in order to conclude a Big Ten Series with Indiana that rolled over from the weekend due to rainouts). Even with the addition of the Rochseter game, Notre Dame still is slated to play just 55 of the maximum 56 regular-season games (due to the rainout of the April 27 Arizona State game).
