NOTRE DAME, Ind. — ABC Sports has announced that it will nationally televise the Notre Dame-Nebraska football game to be played Sept. 8, 2001, at 8:00 p.m. EDT (7:00 p.m. CDT in Lincoln) at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Neb.

In addition, here are kickoffs for Notre Dame’s 2001 home football games, all to be televised nationally by NBC Sports:

• September 22 Michigan State 1:30 p.m. EST (2:30 EDT in New York)
• October 6 Pittsburgh 1:30 p.m. EST (2:30 EDT in New York)
• October 13 West Virginia 1:30 p.m. EST (2:30 EDT in New York)
• October 20 USC 1:30 p.m. EST (2:30 EDT in New York)
• November 3 Tennessee 1:30 p.m. EST
• November 17 Navy 2:30 p.m. EST
