A Look Back At The 2012 Meet The Team Dinner

Feb. 10, 2012

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The University of Notre Dame baseball team held its 11th annual Meet The Team Dinner on Tuesday night (Feb. 7) at Club Naimoli in Purcell Pavilion.

Famous Dave’s catered the dinner, which began at 6:00 p.m. The night’s festivities included an introduction to each of the 2012 Notre Dame team members. The players were seated at tables with attendees and were available for autographs following the dinner. The dinner also included video highlights and a musical selection of traditional and contemporary baseball songs.

One of the humorous portions of the evening took place when each member of the squad, including second-year head coach Mik Aoki, were forced to answer a couple of tough questions. First, the coaches and players had to offer the most embarrassing song and/or artist currently on their iPod. Second, they had to either pick two people, dead or alive, to host a dinner or pick an actor that would portray them in a movie about their life.

Needless to say, some entertaining responses. Here is a recap from most of the team.
