#4 Irish Hit Road For Two-Game Series at #5 BC

NOTRE DAME, Ind. —The #4 Irish return to the road for a pair of matchups against #5 Boston College this Thursday (April 15) and Saturday (April 17) in Chestnut Hill, Mass. Thursday’s matchup is set for 5 p.m. ET on ACC Network while opening draw on Saturday is slated for 11 a.m. ET on ACC Network Extra.

THE NOTRE DAME-BC SERIES

  • The Irish and Eagles will be meeting for the 17th and 18th times this week with the all-time series currently even at 8-8.
  • Notre Dame and Boston College last met on March 7, 2020 before the season was cancelled, with the Irish earning an 11-7 victory at Arlotta Stadium.
  • Samantha Lynch led the Irish with four points (G, 3A) in that victory while Andie Aldave collected a hat trick.
  • Bridget Deehan stopped 10 of 17 shots she faced to earn the victory in goal.
  • The two sides last met at Boston College on April 3, 2019, when then #1 Boston College earned an 11-7 triumph.
