Day 2 of the fall season saw the Notre Dame Women’s Tennis team earn five victories at the Auburn and Wolverine Invitationals.
At the Auburn Invitational in Alabama, matches featuring the Irish netted three victories. On the doubles side, Ally Bojczuk and Zoe Taylor defeated Penn State’s O’Gorman and Rohrbacher, 6-2. Maeve Koscieski paired up with Kansas’ Karvouni to defeat Ole Miss’ De Jong and De Samucewicz, 7-5. In singles play, Maeve Koscielski downed Wisconsin’s Zordani, 6-1, 6-0.
In Ann Arbor, MI, Julia Lilien defeated Michigan’s Alyvia Jones, 6-4, 6-7, 6-4, to record a singles victory for the Irish. The duo of Cameron Corse and Bess Waldram bested Michigan’s Anca Craciun and Giulia Pairone, 7-6 (7).
Play concludes Sunday at both the Auburn Invitational and the Wolverine Invitational.
