Notre Dame Athletics Marketing is hosting a semester-long dorm competition to create an even better experience for all students and student-athletes at Notre Dame athletic events. Our coaches and student-athletes want the best home-field/court/ice advantage in the country. Increased student attendance and engagement is our best shot!
Fall Grand Prize:
The dorm with the highest average percentage of their residents in attendance at the six fall dorm competition nights will win a private tour of the Notre Dame football locker room, get to touch the “Play Like a Champion Today” sign, get full field access, and enjoy a Q&A session with Ron Powlus, Associate AD for Football and former ND quarterback.
There will also be a prize at each designated sporting event for the dorm with the highest percentage of residents in attendance.
A leaderboard will be displayed on the Duncan Student Center video board throughout the semester.
How to Check-in?
At each sporting event, provide your dorm name to the staff member at the marketing table based on the locations listed below.
Dorm Competition Nights:
- Tuesday, October 1, 7:00 p.m.: Men’s Soccer vs. DePaul
- Use your student ID to enter the North Gate of Alumni Stadium
- Thursday, October 10, 7:00 p.m.: Women’s Soccer vs. Miami
- Use your student ID to enter the North Gate of Alumni Stadium
- Friday, November 8, 8:00 p.m.: Hockey vs. Ohio State
- Request a ticket via the standard process outlined in the Notre Dame Ticket Office email
- Enter through the main entrance of the Compton Family Ice Arena
- Sunday, November 17, 1:00 p.m.: Volleyball vs.Syracuse
- Enter through Gate 10 of the Joyce Center
- Monday, November 18, 7:00 p.m.: Men’s Basketball vs. Presbyterian
- Request a ticket via the standard process outlined in the Notre Dame Ticket Office email
- Enter through Gate 10 of the Joyce Center
- Wednesday, December 4, TBA: Women’s Basketball vs Minnesota
- Enter through Gate 8 of the Joyce Center
- Pickup a free ticket using your student ID
*Gates open an hour before game time. Admission will be granted until capacity is reached.
