As the 2008 University of Notre Dame home football season begins, here are some valuable informational items for ticket-holders who will be visiting the campus:

TICKETS — Safeguard your tickets, keep them in a secure location – and treat them like cash! Everyone needs a ticket for admission, regardless of age.

TICKET RESALE — Adhere to the Athletic Ticket Resale Policy. The ticket office actively monitors secondary market sales and enforces this policy. Privileges for nearly 9,000 tickets have been revoked since the inception of the policy. A Ticket Office Resale Violator Tipline is available via email: seller1@nd.edu. Please send any suspected violators or information to this address.

TICKET FRAUD — With high demand for this year’s tickets, scams and ticket fraud are on the rise. Be very cautious when buying tickets from any entity other than the University. For more information, refer to the July Ticket Office Fraud and Scam Alert.

PRIDE — Protect the Notre Dame home-field advantage! Wear Notre Dame colors and do not provide tickets to fans of visiting teams!

PARKING — If you have not been on campus the past few months, you will notice some significant changes to campus parking lots and roadways when you arrive for a football game. As such, many previous routes may no longer be viable. Additionally, the University has built a road from the Indiana Toll Road directly into the White Field parking lot. The new road, is right off exit 77 and will crosses over State Road 933 into the White Field parking lot. It will only be open for home football games and a few other select events.

Remember, on game days, all parking at Notre Dame is reserved — with the exception of the White Field (located north of campus) and game day disabled patron parking (located in the D2 lot). RV parking is located in the White Field as well, and free shuttle buses are available to transport fans to and from that location. Do not approach White Field from the south or from internal campus.

Remember, overnight parking is not allowed. If you have a reserved parking pass, please follow the directions printed on it and be aware they may have changed for 2008. A complete layout of the parking areas for the 2008 football season may be found here: 2008 Parking Map.

Please follow the directions of parking staff, law enforcement and security officers to keep things running smoothly before and after the game.

BUS PARKING — Bus parking has also been relocated from directly south of Joyce Center to Old Edison Road due to road changes. ALL buses should approach from the south.

JUNIPER ROAD — Juniper Road between Douglas Road and Angela Blvd./Edison Road is closed permanently to traffic, and has been removed through central campus.

Please review the links below for more information on football parking, directions and additional information:
