Boston College will be playing at Notre Dame Stadium for the first time since 2004 — and its 10th time overall. Four of the ’07 visitors to Notre Dame Stadium played in postseason bowl games following the 2006 season – Georgia Tech (Gator Bowl), Boston College (won Meineke Car Care Bowl), USC (won Rose Bowl) and Navy (Meineke Car Care Bowl). Road opponents who played in bowl games a year ago include Penn State (won Outback Bowl), Michigan (Rose Bowl), Purdue (Champs Sports Bowl) and UCLA (Emerald Bowl).
