Notre Dame’s road football game against Washington, to be played Sept. 24, 2005, will kick off at 12:30 p.m. PDT (2:30 p.m. EST in South Bend, 3:30 p.m. EDT in New York), the Pacific-10 Conference has announced.

ABC Sports will televise that game from Husky Stadium in Seattle.

ABC also will televise the Nov. 26, 2005, Notre Dame-Stanford game from Stanford Stadium in Palo Alto, Calif., at either 12:30 p.m. PST (3:30 p.m. EST in South Bend) or at 5:00 p.m. PST (8:00 p.m. EST in South Bend).

EST – Eastern Standard Time EDT – Eastern Daylight Time

For a portion of the year, the Northern Indiana area does not change it clocks back (or forward) for daylight saving time. The Notre Dame area remains on EST all-year round. While the east coast is on daylight savings time, Notre Dame remains an hour behind – essentially the same as Chicago (Central Daylight Time) during this period.
