2004 und.com Live Audio For Volleyball And Women's Soccer Debuts Tonight

Sept. 3, 2004

The 2004 live internet audio broadcast schedules for Notre Dame’s women’s volleyball and women’s soccer teams are set to debut tonight, as both squads begin big weekends of competition featuring two live internet audio broadcasts apiece. The 25th-ranked Irish volleyball team (1-0) will play host to #2 Nebraska on both Friday and Saturday, with both matches starting at 7 p.m. (EST), while second-ranked women’s soccer (2-0) will take on #13 Stanford tonight at 7:30 p.m. before a Sunday contest with #4 Santa Clara at 1:30 p.m. The live audio broadcasts are available to subscribers of College Sports Pass. Subscriptions are $6.95 per month or $49.95 for a year, and details are available on www.und.com under “Audio/Video.” College Sports Pass subscribers gain access to all Notre Dame live audio broadcasts (for football, basketball, hockey, baseball, softball, volleyball, and soccer), as well as other audio and video features, like the football press conferences and coaches shows for various sports. Additionally, College Sports Pass subscribers have access to all audio and video features provided by every other College Sports Online school, an impressive group of nearly 200 colleges and universities. For a full list, see http://www.collegesports.com/online/partners/collegesports-partners.html. The weekend kicks off a six-match schedule of live internet audio for volleyball, which has former Bethel College volleyball coach Dr. Lorne Oke and Stephen Hinkel calling the action. The schedule resumes with the Oct. 13 match against Illinois State (7 p.m.) and then concludes with three November contests: Nov. 5 vs. Connecticut (7 p.m.), Nov. 12 vs. Pittsburgh (4 p.m.), and Nov. 16 vs. Northern Iowa (7 p.m.). Tentatively, every remaining women’s soccer game will feature live internet audio, but www.und.com will have further details as the season progresses. In addition, every home game (other than Oct. 7 vs. Pittsburgh) for the ninth-ranked Irish men’s soccer team and all 11 football games will have live internet audio. For further details on other broadcasts and features available to College Sports Pass subscribers, check www.und.com. All home action for both volleyball and soccer also will feature live scoring via the new GameTracker system. Links to that are available on www.und.com.
