9. What are your goals for this season? To win 40 games, to win the Big East and the Big East tournament, and also to host a regional and a super regional and to win in Omaha.

11. What is your favorite thing about playing for Notre Dame? Team Unity and tradition.
12. My greatest personal athletic moment: Beating Florida State in the super regional last year.

15. What are your plans for life after Notre Dame? Hopefully to play professional baseball, then enter the business world and have a beautiful family.

19. When I was younger… I wanted to be a pediatrician.
20. The biggest reason I chose Notre Dame is: I felt Notre Dame would prepare me academically, and it was the best match all-around both academically and athletically. Also I wanted to be the first in my family to graduate from Notre Dame and hopefully start a tradition for future generations in my family to come here.
Comments on opening day. . . We have been working really hard to get to where we are at right now. We are just going to take it one game at a time, though we are confident in our preparation for the season and look forward to the weekend at Arizona State.
