2 NETWORKS TO BROADCAST 2008 WHATABURGER COLLEGE CLASSIC

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Corpus Christi Hooks and B2 Networks announced today that the 2008 Whataburger College Classic will be broadcast live via B2 Networks. In what is becoming recognized as a premier event on the early season baseball calendar,the tournament will be held from Mar. 7-9 at Whataburger Stadium, featuring Collegiate Baseball’s preseason No. 1 Arizona, Notre Dame, South Alabama and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.

The first pitch of the Whataburger College Classic is set for 3 p.m. on Friday, Mar. 7, when Notre Dame takes on Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. South Alabama and Arizona will follow at 7 p.m. On Saturday,Mar. 8, South Alabama and Notre Dame get the day started at 3 p.m., with Arizona and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi to follow in the 7 p.m. nightcap. The Whataburger College Classic will wrap up on Sunday, Mar. 9. Notre Dame and Arizona play at 12 p.m., and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and South Alabama square off at 4 p.m. All times are Central.

Fans can purchase individual game passes for $8.00 (US) each. All six games can be purchased for a $25.00 (US) tournament pass.
