AT NOTRE DAME

As a Sophomore (2023-24)

  • Missed the first four games after recovering from a right-hand injury sustained at practice a couple of days before the season opener
  • He then played in 29 games, with 27 starts, averaging 24.3 min/game.
  • Led the team in rebounding (5.4) and offensive boards (2.0).
  • In his ACC Tournament debut, Njie tied his season high of 11 points and nearly pulled off a double-double with 9 rebounds against Georgia Tech. Njie went a career-best 9-of-10 from the free-throw line.
  • Reeled in 15 boards over 2 ACC Tournament games.
  • In ACC play, he averaged 4.5 points & 5.5 rebounds.
  • Impacted the Georgia Tech game with 6 points and 7 rebounds and didn’t attempt a field goal. Had a game-winning offensive board tip that landed in Burton’s hands that iced the game with 2 seconds left.   
  • Season-high 11 points on 4-of-7 shooting in the win over Virginia Tech on Feb. 10. Also grabbed 6 rebounds.
  • In both Duke matchups, Kebba Njie had the assignment to lock down Kyle Filipowski and he did just that. Njie limited him to seven points in South Bend and 8 points in Durham. Filipowski shot a combined 4-for-21.
  • Career high 11 rebounds vs. NC State on Jan. 3. Three double-digit rebound games over the last 7 games.
  • Nearly achieved his first career double-double with 9 points against the #14/13 Blue Devils.
  • His first double-digit scoring performance with the Irish came against Virginia on Dec. 30 – 10 points & 6 rebounds.
  • Made his ND debut in the win over UMES (11/22). Njie came off the bench and tallied 7 points and 4 rebounds.

AT PENN STATE

As a Freshman (2022-23)

  • Played in all 37 games while making 26 starts as a true freshman
  • Averaged 3.4 points and 3.5 rebounds per game while shooting 52.0 percent from the field in an average of 14.3 minutes per contest.
  • Recorded four points and three rebounds in collegiate debut vs Winthrop (11/7)
  • Loyola Maryland (11/10): Tallied 12 points on 4-of-5 shooting, six rebounds and two assists in 16 minutes of action
  • Got first career start vs. Colorado State (11/20), finishing with eight points, three rebounds and first-career three-pointer
  • Quinnipiac (12/22): Tallied eight points, three rebounds and a career-best four blocks.
  • at Nebraska (2/5): Pulled down a career-high nine rebounds.
  • vs. #19 Indiana – Big Ten Tournament Semifinals (3/11): Pulled down career high-tying nine rebounds to go along with six points.
  • vs. #17 Texas A&M (3/16): Was 4-for-4 from the floor and finished with eight points and three rebounds in the NCAA Tournament victory.

  • A consensus 4-star recruit and No. 16 power forward in the country according to Rivals
  • Played two seasons of high school basketball at Indiana powerhouse La Lumiere after two at Centerville High School in Ohio
  • Starter on 2021-22 La Lumiere team that advanced to GEICO Nationals
  • Led Centerville to a district championship and regional runner-up status during sophomore season.
