Julia Andreach Headed To NCAA Tournament in Stillwater

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Senior Julia Andreach earned a spot in the NCAA women’s tennis individual championship hosted by Oklahoma State University, May 16-25th. This is the first time Andreach has qualified for the individual tournament, becoming the first individual to earn a spot in the individual tournament since teammate Page Freeman in 2023. Prior to Freeman, the Irish had gone six seasons without an individual qualifier in the singles event.

Andreach is currently ranked 22nd national according to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. She has amassed a 19-1 record this spring, going 12-1 in Atlantic Coast Conference action. Andreach split time at the top two flights, earning a 9-0 mark at No. 2, and going 10-1 at the top position. Andreach earned nine ranked wins during the season, including a win over Miami’s Alexa Noel in two sets. Noel was ranked 11th at the time of Andreach’s victory.

Along with the individual postseason appearance, Andreach will lead the Irish into the NCAA Tournament this weekend as the team qualified for the team competition for the second-consecutive season.
